CrossFit Kids
CrossFit Kids is a method for teaching to children ages 5-14. Based on the principle of Mechanics, Consistency and then Intensity, CrossFit Kids emphasizes good movement throughout childhood and adolescence. Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for kids. Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence to the program can have a positive impact on children’s academic achievement.
CrossFit Boerne is here to promote health and fitness in children and to offset the trending obesity and physical inactivity that is becoming the norm for most children. We focus on the individual child's ability and will appropriately challenge them with skills, functional movement and weight. At the ages of 14/15, we begin to migrate the teenagers into our adult classes, again, promoting their fitness with appropriate movements and loads.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Class Times:
4:30 - 5:30 pm
